Charli, a beloved 16-year-old whose life brought together a community through faith, kindness and love, passed away on September 22, 2026, following a devastating car accident.
From the moment Charli arrived at the hospital, doctors, nurses and medical teams worked tirelessly to save her. Her family and thousands of people across the community prayed for a miracle, with schools, churches, friends, classmates, families and even strangers coming together to support Charli and her loved ones.
In the days following the accident, her family said they witnessed an extraordinary outpouring of love. People prayed together, comforted one another and stood beside the family during an unimaginable period of grief.
Charli’s family remembers her as a young woman who loved Jesus and demonstrated that love through the way she treated others. She smiled at people, noticed those around her and made others feel valued and seen. She was described as having a tender heart, a beautiful spirit and a strong desire to do what was right.
Even in death, Charli continued to give to others. Her family learned that she had chosen to become an organ donor, a decision that allowed her wishes to be honored. Because she was able to become a full organ donor, her family believes her gift may give other families the precious opportunities they had prayed for themselves.
Through organ donation, Charli may help others experience birthdays, holidays, graduations, family milestones and ordinary moments that families facing serious illness long to receive.
Her family acknowledges that this does not lessen the pain of losing her. They say there will always be a Charli-sized place in their family that no one else can fill.
Yet they are choosing to remember the sixteen years they had with her as one of life’s greatest gifts. They believe Charli’s story will continue to inspire people to show kindness, care for those who feel alone, pray boldly and turn toward faith during difficult times.
Charli’s family has expressed deep gratitude to everyone who prayed, offered support and stood beside them.
She will be remembered for her faith, compassion and ability to bring people together.
Her family believes she has finished her race and is now at peace with the Jesus she loved.
Until they meet again, Charli’s loved ones say they will continue telling her story, saying her name and loving others the way she did.
