The RES PTO community is mourning the unexpected passing of Hector Castellon, whose death over the weekend has left his wife, Leah, their four young children, and many friends and members of the school community facing a heartbreaking loss.
Leah and Hector Castellon were both cherished members of the RES PTO family. Over the years, they generously contributed their time, energy and support to numerous PTO events and activities, helping strengthen the school community and create meaningful experiences for students and families.
Their commitment and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on those around them. The RES PTO expressed deep gratitude for everything the couple had done for the school and the families it serves.
Hector’s unexpected passing has created an especially difficult time for Leah and their four children. The RES community is now coming together to offer the family love, encouragement and practical support as they navigate life after such a sudden loss.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been established to provide financial assistance to Leah and the children. Community members are being encouraged to contribute if they are able, while those who cannot donate are reminded that sharing the fundraiser and keeping the Castellon family in their thoughts can also provide meaningful support.
The RES PTO has also announced that all profits from the 50/50 fundraiser at the upcoming Purse Bash will be donated directly to the Castellon family.
As the community remembers Hector, the focus remains on supporting the family he leaves behind. His connection to the RES PTO and the many students and families he helped serve will remain part of the community’s memories.
The RES PTO has encouraged its community to come together as it has done before, showing Leah and her children that they are surrounded by people who care deeply for them.
Hector Castellon will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, friend and valued member of the RES community. His family remains in the thoughts of everyone who knew and supported them.
