Addison Worwood Accident, Nephi, UT – Missionary in Critical Condition After Being Hit by Car

The community is being asked to pray for Sister Addison Worwood after she was reportedly struck by a car while serving her mission in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission.

According to a message from Joel Gardiner, President of the Nephi Utah Stake, Addison is in critical condition with significant injuries following the accident. She was undergoing brain surgery at the time the message was shared.

Members of the Nephi Utah Stake, along with their friends and neighbors, were invited to join in fasting and prayer for Addison as she undergoes treatment. The request also included prayers for Addison’s companion, the driver involved in the accident, and the Worwood family.

Special prayers were requested for Addison’s parents, Jennie and Riley Worwood, as they face an incredibly difficult and uncertain time while their daughter receives medical care.

The message from President Gardiner expressed appreciation for the community’s faith, support, and love during the difficult circumstances. He also expressed trust that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ would sustain everyone affected by the accident.
